My Approach to Boudoir Photography -
I focus on capturing natural beauty while ensuring you feel comfortable and supported throughout the session. I work with women of all shapes, sizes, and ages, and many clients come to me unsure of how to pose, what to wear, or even what faces to make. That's completely normal, and part of my job is to help you prepare before our session!
During the session, I'll guide you through poses that accentuate your unique features and make you feel confident and beautiful. I also continuously adjust lighting and frame shots to capture images that celebrate who you are authentically.
After our session, I prefer to keep post-editing minimal—every photo should (and will) look like you. Of course, I can always address specific retouching requests, but my priority is always on helping you embrace your natural beauty and glow. One of my favorite parts about my work is helping women see themselves in a whole new light!

What is boudoir?
Although boudoir photography has been around since the turn of the century, in the past decade the popularity of the genre has skyrocketed. However, the term “boudoir photography” is often misunderstood, as is the style itself.
Like bohemian style, boudoir photography has evolved over the years. The French term “boudoir” translates to “a woman’s private room or bedroom.” In the 1920s and 1930s, the women portrayed in boudoir photography were often pictured in silk nightgowns sitting in front of their vanity. As time progressed, the settings expanded to other areas around the house such as bathrooms and living rooms and nightgowns were replaced with lingerie. Now the majority of boudoir photography takes place in a portrait studio and women choose whatever clothing they are most comfortable in, whether it’s an oversized t-shirt or, perhaps, nothing at all.
In today’s American culture, physical beauty is both praised and condemned. Most women want to look like a cover model, but often criticize those same publications for over editing and setting unrealistic ideas of what beauty truly is, or that beauty is only skin deep.
We believe that all women are beautiful and that is something to be celebrated. That’s why we love boudoir photography.

Professional hair and make-up is included with every boudoir session. Sit back, have a glass of bubbly and enjoy a little "you time" before your boudoir photography experience begins from our licensed cosmetologists. When they aren't glamming you up they are working with celebs around the city!

You are always welcome to come into the photography studio. It’s a fantastic way to tailor your ideas into your shoot, plan for the perfect outfits, meet in-person, see the amazing sample albums, chat pricing, and ask questions. We can also talk over the phone or Skype. As your Arizona boudoir photographer, I want you to feel as happy and comfortable as possible.

Boudoir shoots are SO much fun! You spend an entire day getting pampered in hair and makeup, wearing things that make you feel amazing, and walking away with a huge confidence boost and a collection of photos you will absolutely love.
There are always two important questions once you've decided to treat yourself to a shoot. "What does pricing look like?" and "what are my printing options for my photos?"
Pricing for a boudoir experience with Beautiful Boudoir is made up of two parts: a session fee and the cost of the photos you choose to order.
Your $400 session fee is due at the time of booking and reserves your shoot date. It includes wardrobe styling, hair and makeup, your shoot time, expert coaching and posing during your shoot, gallery reveal, professional retouching of your images and custom design of any products you order.
Pictures are purchased separately, and there are lots of fun options to display your gorgeous artwork!
